Manager Tony Carlin and his fantastic staff team at Stobars Hall have been commended in the Sun Newspaper for their efforts in reuniting one of their residents with his wife on their 60th Wedding Anniversary. The surprise face to face visit arranged for him and his wife, instigated by his daughter brought a tear to everyone’s eye. VE Day 'Lockdown' Celebrations
The 75th anniversary of VE Day was celebrated in style in all of our homes. Lockdown meant that we couldn’t invite friends and family to join the festivities but that didn’t stop everyone enjoying the day - particularly the sunshine.
Happy Dining at Kirkwood
Residents at Kirkwood are enchanted by the beautifully decorated Dining room with dementia friendly bright but calming colours & pictures and a new family wall including art work from the residents themselves. Families and friends are always welcome to come and dine with their loved ones, food is such an important part of life! Home cooked, delicious meals made from locally sourced ingredients served in gorgeous surroundings - what more could anyone wish for?
Hillcrest staff earn GOLD Award for Flu Vaccinations
We are very proud of our staff team at Hillcrest for being proactive in keeping themselves and in turn our residents safe from Flu this winter. Public Health England and the NHS have recognised us with their Gold Award.
Embroidery classes keep our residents busy
Residents at The Gatehouse are getting involved in embroidery classes and enjoying a chat with friends. There’s always something to keep everyone busy in our homes!
As well as Residential Care we offer Day Care for people who would like a bit of company and some home cooked food.

Kirkwood Celebrates Long Serving Carers
We are saying a big thank-you this month to Paul and Jackie who have been looking after the residents at Kirkwood for 15 years! Their commitment and dedication are an inspiration to us all. They were personally thanked by the directors who presented them with a gift and flowers as a gesture of our appreciation.
Xmas Lights Extravaganza at The Gatehouse
Christmas time is very special at The Gatehouse and both residents and visitors marvel at our amazing lights displays in the gardens surrounding the home. Everyone is welcome to come and see the lights which are on every night throughout December.
Santa makes an appearance in Catterick
It was Christmas Party time at Hillcrest on Saturday 7th December. Residents were wowed by the visiting pantomime and there was food drink and festivities all round! Father Christmas was even good enough to spend some time with us, making it a lovely day for all the family.
